The description of the kakapo is my favorite part of Last Chance to See, so of course I’ve been googling kakapos since I’ve been listening to it. I didn’t even know that Stephen Fry did a TV series as a follow-up to the book and radio series, or that a video of a kakapo attempting to mate with a man’s head while Fry comments on it existed. 

I love those goofy little birds even more now.
