Prime Origins
In 2001, MTV had a short-lived cartoon called Undergrads that I loved. The show revolved around four high school friends who had graduated and gone to different schools. I always thought it was hilarious and fantastic, and I loved every episode and all the characters. One of the characters was a super nerdy guy from Teckerson Tech named Gimpy, who also went by the gamer alias G-Prime. Around some...

Today's Leftovers, 2/16/12
Danielle left to Alabama at 3:30 this morning.  Only had 4 hours of sleep. Apple discovered another big cat. Unfollowed 40-ish people or accounts on Tumblr.  Went to Medevel Times in New Jersey. Our knight lost, but he won our hearts.

You see, somehow years ago Fox 2 was able to establish a morning local news program that surpassed the national morning shows, and I basically grew up watching the Fox 2 Morning News. But this guy, Al Allen, has been with the network for 29 years, and during the entire time, I had never seen him step into the...

Train Simulator 2012: A Review
TS2012: Please follow along with our beginner tutorial!
Me: Cool, this should be interesting. (5 minutes pass)
TS2012: Congratulations on completing the tutorial! Now try out one of the beginner scenarios. There's more involved in running a train, but we'll let you know how to do it as time goes on.
Me: Sweet! (picks an 'easy' scenario)
TS2012: Couple the locomotive to the freight cars behind you, proceed forward with respect to the track speed limit, and arrive at the destination within 15 minutes so you can unload your passengers and your cargo. (instruction window closes, no more tutorial windows open)
Me: WHAT IS THIS I ONLY KNOW HOW TO MAKE CHOO CHOO GO FORWARD

andreaallen: “Alright everybody, it’s time to choose the name of our band. I’ve noticed we all have kids — we’re all fathers. I also noticed we really like to have sex with virgins.” - Steve Perry
